2012 Happenings

2012 was a great year for the Greers.  We were blessed with great health, lots of family time, and wonderful friendships.  We are looking forward to what 2013 has to bring.  Here's our 2012 month-by-month activities.

January - We rang in the New Year with friends at Taki in Macon.

February - We celebrated my grandma's 80th birthday party.

We also celebrated Shana's 30th birthday.

March - Ansley was baptized at our church.  We had her pictures taken in the Callison family baptismal gown.

April - We celebrated Easter with our families.  Uncle Kyle and Aunt Candace came over from LA.

May - I celebrated my first Mother's Day.  We had the family over for dinner.

June - I hosted a shower for Shana and sweet Anabelle.

July - Ansley experienced her first beach trip.  She also learned to LOVE the water!

Our sweet Anabelle was born.

We visited Mitch's granny in Virginia.

August - Asher turned 2 and had a fun birthday party.

Ansley had her 8 month pictures taken.

September - We enjoyed cheering on the Dawgs.

We also celebrated Mitch's 10 year reunion from Westfield.

October - We went to Augusta for the Border-Bash weekend.

We went to the Georgia National Fair with our families, and Uncle Kyle and Aunt Candace came into town.

Mitch and Chris ran in the Merrell Down and Dirty Mud Run.

Ansley and Asher went Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood.

Fair Fun

This past week has been the Georgia National Fair in Perry.  It's a huge deal for Perry and middle Georgia.  Mitch and I haven't been to the fair much since we've been married, but we knew we wanted to go this year with Ansley.  Mitch's brother, Kyle, and his girlfriend, Candace, were in town this weekend too.   We went on Thursday evening with the Greer family, and then we went Saturday morning with my family.  We had a blast both times, and Ansley enjoyed her first fair experience.  We're looking forward to next year when Ansley will get to enjoy a few more of the attractions.  Here are some pictures from Ansley's first fair trips.

The giraffe was really cool.

We went to see the giraffe again with my family.
Pappy bought the carrots for Asher to feed the animals.
