November

November was a fun and busy month for the Greers.  We started off having our pictures made with Ashlee Culverhouse. See previous post for those pictures.  We also celebrated Ansley's third birthday party...Minnie Mouse style!

We also enjoyed a quick visit from Uncle Kyle and Aunt Candace.

Our ladies Civic Club, Zaltana, sponsored a Band Party at HLCC.  We had a great time.

We also had a wonderful Thanksgiving day with both families.  We enjoyed lunch with my family in Ocilla and dinner with Mitch's family in Fort Valley.  It was a day full of fun, great food, and fellowship.

We enjoyed going to a few Hornet football games too!  Mitch and I enjoyed cheering on the Hornets during their back-to-back State Championship game.  Ansley loved going to the home games and seeing Buzz, the "Bumble Bee".  We tried to tell her he was a Hornet, but she never understood! :)

We ended the month with a great celebration at our church.  We had Will baptized.  Both of our parents and my grandmother attended the church, and then my sister and her family joined us at the house for lunch.  It was a special day for our family.

Last, we had a fun visitor for the end of November and most of December.  Leon, our Elf, arrived and brought lots of fun!  I'll update soon with our December happenings.

September and October

So I'm trying to recap some of our fun happenings over the last few months.  Obviously, things slowed down for a while when Will was born.  We tried to stay home as much as possible, but we did get out and about some.  Here's what happened in September and October.

We had our yearly Greer-Todd-Greer-Vashi gathering in Augusta for the GA-SC weekend.  Will was only 1 month old so it was questionable whether we would go this year, but we decided to go.  Ansley loved playing with all of the kids, and Will loved being passed around receiving all of the attention!  The weather was a little rainy and the dawgs didn't come through for us, but a fun time was had as usual.  We're looking forward to our next gathering...hopefully at the beach again this summer.

Mitch also won the HLCC Championship Tournament.  Ansley was so proud of her daddy!

We also went to the GA National Fair.  We ventured out twice, with both of our parents.  The weather was great, and Ansley had a great time!

October came and brought lots of fun too!  Mitch and I were able to escape to Athens for a day to go to the UGA vs TN game.  We had a great time, the dawgs won, and we met Josh and Andi.  Of course, we had to have our picture made too!

At the end of October, we had a lot of fun at Halloween.  As always, the neighborhood was the place to be for Trick-or-Treating.

I also headed back to work in October after my maternity leave.  Although it was hard to leave my sweet baby boy, I know he's in great hands.  I had this sweet banner ready for me when I returned.
